ome to the website of the International Dialogue Center "Liqaa".
On May 10, 2011 we have inaugurated this center under the patronage and with the presence of H.E. the president of the Lebanese Republic General Michel Sleiman and the Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs at the Sultanate of Oman H.E Cheikh Abdallah bin Muhammad As-Salemi. This Centre has taken as its object to be a local and international centre for dialogue between people in their religion, faith, civilization, culture, industry, politics, thought, vision, perspective and the perspectives of their whole life.
Though born today, it is in the very old, traditional line of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church, which has always been considered as a Church without borders, that makes every possible effort to build bridges in a divided world, through dialogue without frontiers – a religious, cultural dialogue that embraces the whole of civilization.
It is an intellectual, academic centre of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church in Arab countries, emigration countries and throughout the whole world and through this Church, a platform for everyone.
